Everything about Dr. Jose P. Rizal

By Sir Cornell J. Wallace, Jr.

Welcome to The Rizalian Corner; a section of the Kabayan Weekly, dedicated to everything related to Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the National Hero of the Philippines who gave his life for the Filipino people. We hope to continue in the promulgation of his works, teachings and wisdom as well as help to educate those who wish to know more.

So, join us and walk in his steps, travel in his wake, and see the world thru his writings and works and If you wish to contribute to The Rizalian Corner, please contact Sir Cornell at okor.edc.chancellor@gmail.com

We further embark on our journey through the life and eventual death of Dr. Rizal thru many ways and means. Through his life, we take the powerful things, which made others scared of him — his words, others admire him — his work, and still others who proceeded with caution — his love for country and its people. Through his death, we seek to understand those things from his life many took for granted; thus, the reason for the constant reminder of his death and why it was such an important event felt soon thereafter.

So, JOIN US  on 25 Jan 2019 to help look at some of his life through our Medical Mission and get a glimpse into his death through the Special Commemoration Ceremony, where his execution is re-enacted by the fine students of the Far Eastern Private School, Al Shahba and Al Azra branches. We will have special guests and related Philippine cultural and historical segments as part of our program. Look to us next week for more details.
