Co-developed by Russian drone manufacturer Hoversurf, the battery-powered flying motorbike will be used to respond to emergency situations in the emirate.
The new bike can fly five meters above the surface and can carry a policeman during emergency situation, evading heavy traffic, according to a gulfnews.com report.
It has not been officially used as it is still undergoing tests but will be used soon by the Dubai Police force.
According to the report, the hoverbike can fly up to 25 minutes, move up to 70 kilometers per hour (kph) with a pilot and carry a maximum weight up to 300 kilograms (kg).
First Sergeant Ali Ahmad Mohammad from the VIP Security Department in Dubai Police said that it can also fly without a pilot and can travel up to six kilometers (km).
The hoverbike was shown recently during GITEX, which was held in Dubai World Trade Center from October 8 to 12, 2017.
